Most spaghetti sauces have additives and at the very least almost all of them have sugar added. I know it’s convient to be able to have ready made jars on hand but with just 1 minute more of time invested you can have an organic spaghetti sauce, custom made to your tastes. As a start here is a basic recipe you can work from and then play with the spices (in 1/4 teaspoon amounts with tastings between if you aren’t experienced) until they are right for your family!
2 cans organic tomato sauce (Costco sells boxes of them for cheap)
1 T. Garlic powder
1 T. Onion powder
1 t. Oregano
1/2 t. Basil
1 t. Salt (or to taste)
Pepper to taste
Mix together and enjoy on whatever you would like! The dry spices are what makes this quick, I am sure you could spend a whole day or two making an excellent sauce, but then that wouldn’t be quick or easy would it?
